Born and raised a South of Gandy kid, Taylor grew up creating a stir throughout the South Tampa and Ybor City areas. His passion for this vibrant city ultimately led him to call Ybor home for the past 13 years. As a skilled mechanic, his impressive resume includes shop ownership, working with racing teams, and modifying high-end exotic cars. Recognized two years in a row for 'Best of the Bay - Best Auto Mechanic', Taylor aims to leverage his meticulous and inquisitive nature to bring depth and intrigue to the podcast episodes that highlight Ybor's rich history and colorful characters. Serving as VP of the Historic Ybor Neighborhood Civic Association (HYNCA) in 2014 deepened his love for this historic area. You can find him in Tampa on any weekend evening, enjoying a nice cigar and possibly a stiff cocktail, ready to engage in conversation about the hidden gems of Ybor and the unique charm of Ybormuda.

Tampa native and award-winning tour guide Max Herman has experienced the quirky side of Ybor City’s National Historic Landmark District. Growing up in the streets of Ybor, this curious kid transitioned from asking too many questions to showcasing the city to both travelers and locals alike. He serves on The Board of Directors of Circulo Cubano and holds the esteemed title of 'Best in the Bay - Best Person to Walk Around Ybor City With.'
During the day, you can find Max shaking hands and enjoying cigars with the higher-ups of Ybor’s Society. At night, he hosts The Official Ybor City Ghost Tour, which has been recognized by TripAdvisor as a 'Top 10% Attraction Worldwide.' In addition to his tours, Max also shares intriguing stories in various podcast episodes, allowing listeners to dive deeper into the history and culture of Ybor.
